IGONTEK introduces Igontek Phone for HubSpot, an application that connects HubSpot to the IGONTEK cloud PBX. It lets you make and receive calls in the browser and keeps each call on the contact record, with a recording link when a recording is made. For IGONTEK customers with a cloud PBX extension.
What is Igontek Phone for HubSpot?
Igontek Phone brings the IGONTEK phone into the HubSpot workflow. From a contact, company or deal record, click Call and choose Igontek Phone as the provider. You can also dial any number on the phone keypad. Calls are made in the browser, so you need a current browser, microphone and speakers or headphones.
With HubSpot open, calls to your extension ring in the browser. If the number belongs to a contact, you see the name and the call is associated with the record.
What you can do
- Call from a contact, company or deal record, or dial a number directly.
- Receive calls in the browser and identify the contact when the number is in HubSpot.
- Record calls when applicable and use mute, hold, tones, transfer and conference functions.
What is logged in HubSpot?
When you hang up, HubSpot creates the activity with direction, numbers, duration and outcome. When recorded, the recording link is included. Recordings are stored by the IGONTEK PBX and are available for 30 days.
How to get started
You need to be an IGONTEK customer with a cloud PBX extension, a HubSpot account with permission to install apps, and a current browser with microphone and audio. The application requests basic authentication and permission to view contact properties and details. This access is used to show the name and associate calls; Igontek Phone does not create, modify or delete contacts.
- Install the application from the HubSpot integration page or read the installation guide.
- In HubSpot choose the account, review the permissions and click Connect app. Then, from a contact, select Igontek Phone and sign in with your extension and password or with the link you receive.
- Allow the microphone and, if you want incoming-call alerts, notifications. You can then make calls, receive calls and view the activity in HubSpot.
